I just got back from meeting with the heart surgeon. He is going to try to do the procedure within two or three weeks. It looks like I’ll need a new aorta, probably a valve and maybe a heart pacer. It’s all pretty routine these days. I’ll be a week in the hospital and then four to six weeks recovery. If all goes well I hope to be back to work in July.
