Capitalism may be adequate as an economic system, but is, as a political system, horrific, and is, as a religion, murderous. Any who surrender responsibility for how the people are treated to the “invisible hand” of the market, might as well be worshipping a stone image. America has made the poor our sacrifice to the golden calf of capital.
