The International Criminal Court was established about ten years ago to confront war crimes and genocide. It has just found a Congolese warlord guilty of recruiting child soldiers. Without the support of China or the US the court is severly limited in it ability to protect the world’s population. This is the court’s first verdict ever, but it is working on other cases all of which are in Africa.
