Where are the yellow ribbons now? Where are the homecoming parades?
We were accused of not supporting our troops if we asked questions about our post 9-11 wars. But, in a time of undeclared wars, most veterans return home to a nation that wasn’t paying attention. So now the unemployment rate for post 9-11 vets is 50% higher than non-military citizens. If we send teenagers to fight our dubious wars we should do whatever it takes to heal them from the trauma we have inflicted upon them.
