A recent attitude poll yielded interesting results. As expected Georgians still oppose gay marriage, no surprise there. But, some pollsters are shaking their heads at the finding that Martin Luther King had only a 59/28 favorability rating with Georgia Republicans, whereas Paula Deen (the cooking show host who recently disclosed she has used racist labels) was able to draw a 73/11 favorability rating from those same conservatives.
