Sister Kathy Sherman is a nun. She is also a songwriter whose roots go back to the protest movements of the Vietnam era. When the Vatican issued a harsh criticism of American nuns for speaking up for justice and not being obedient to church hierarchy, Sister Sherman did what she does best, she wrote a song.
