Thanks to Michael Younger for sending this time lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions that took place between 1945 and 1998. The flashing lights and bleeping sounds for every explosion was created by Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto who hoped to show “the fear and folly of nuclear weapons.” As it warns in the link the presentation starts off slow so you may want to fast forward to the sixties for the real light show.
